you can simply write to digitec/galaxus that no adapter is included. they will even send it free of charge, without a minimum quantity surcharge. but send it from the beginning, no that's possible, they have to save the 2 francs.

I have used the scorched rice / nurungji programme repeatedly. It makes a nice crust for my taste and I love this kind of rice. I add a little rice seasoning each time.

Hello, it's a good idea to look at the capacity in cups of rice. For example, this model takes a maximum of 6 cups, i.e. around 1kg of rice. The water used is less important.

Hello, One cup (the smallest amount I've cooked so far) is equivalent to about 130g of uncooked rice, but you can always leave some cooked rice in the cooker closed overnight to finish it later. The rice cooker has a "keep warm" function to keep the rice warm, which also works well for reheating. I hope my answer helps :)

I have never cooked soybeans with it but, for example, beluga lentils work wonderfully. You have a cooking function that you can programme by 10 minutes. For example, I cook the beluga lentils for 30 minutes and what's super handy is that you have a timer function that lets you pre-program when the programme should start.

Everything should be automatic and you would only unlock the lid when the whole process is finished. You shouldn't have to manually let out the steam, it should have been released automatically near the end of the cooking process. Are you trying to unlock the lid before the rice is finished cooking? Then I could see how you would have to release the steam manually. Otherwise, your machine may be defective?

I was also astonished to discover this discrepancy. According to Cuckoo Mall's customer service, you should use the Glutinous programme for sushi rice and add a little more water (whatever that means exactly) to soften the rice.

I also wondered how that would work. In the end I pulled on the pin and with the other hand I carefully pulled on the edge of the inner cover. That's how I got the inner cover off. There is no mechanism to release it or anything. It will probably work better over time when the pin isn't so super tight. 😉

According to the instructions, porridge means rice porridge, not oat porridge. You could try it with less water. For example, to 1 cup of oats, 3 cups of water. Unfortunately, I have not tried this myself.

I'm not sure if you've got the same adaptor like what I got from Galaxus. I got this one for free and it works. Max Hauri Fixed adapter (Schuko plug, Type E+F (CEE 7/7))

In principle, it is possible for a blind person to operate the cooker. The timer tells the time before the cooker starts. If the time is incorrect, the process can be cancelled. There is no acoustic feedback when entering the time. The buttons do not have tactile symbols. (Can be attached if necessary) A sieve is supplied for steaming vegetables.
