Cleaning the inner lid: In order to be able to remove the inner lid of the cooker, it seems that the small rubber peg / nub must first be removed so that the mechanism underneath can be operated to release the lid. I turn and pull on this nub with two fingers, but it just won't pull away. Is there a trick?

I also wondered how that would work. In the end I pulled on the pin and with the other hand I carefully pulled on the edge of the inner cover. That's how I got the inner cover off. There is no mechanism to release it or anything. It will probably work better over time when the pin isn't so super tight. 😉
