I checked with the supplier, who claims that, according to the manufacturer's website, the motor has 600 watts of power. According to an online description: "The 300W power (it can deliver up to 600W in tough situations) is useful if you are approaching the Pro 2's 100kg weight limit and want to ride easily, or if you need to climb hills regularly.

The Swiss Edition does have CH approval, but only for 20km/h. The faster vehicle (25km/h) does not have a road permit. The stand is not adjustable. I bought the 25km/h version. Can only recommend it.

The E scooter is IP54 certified and therefore protected against splash water, dust and dirt. I drove it a few times on wet roads, no problem. According to the manufacturer, not recommended because of the risk of accidents...

So the 20 km/h model is street legal and the 25 km/h is "illegal" on the streets. If you live in a big city, I recommend the 20 km/h model. If you live outside a big city, I recommend the 25 km/h model.

You have to start the app on your mobile phone, log in, connect the scooter, then watch the security video that comes up during the setup process in full, then you can unlock the scooter and the beeping stops.

I found out today that, according to the law, road approval in Switzerland is only granted if it can travel at a maximum of 20 km/h and the manufacturer has sealed it off at 20 km/h. A change to a mode in which 25 km/h can theoretically be set is not permitted for road approval. So if you ride it in a public place, you can be fined even if you only ride in 20 km/h mode with this scooter.

The one with the Swiss Edition name comes from a Swiss supplier while this one comes from Austria. The only other difference I've seen is that with the Swiss Edition it has a 5 year warranty. 2 years is standard here, but for the following 3 years you can go directly to the Swiss Xiaomi website.
