S/FTP patch cable of category 6. Halogen-free, flame-retardant jacket. Wires made of 100% copper. Gold-plated connectors with strain relief. The wires are double-shielded and the cable features strain relief. The jacket is made from halogen-free materials and is highly flame-retardant. Unlike conventional PVC cables, these cables are halogen-free, eliminating the dangerous release of halogenated combustion gases and minimizing smoke generation. Halogen-free cables are difficult to ignite and do not exhibit a dangerous ignition cord effect. Screened Foiled Twisted Pair (S/FTP) refers to cables that have a metallic shield around each pair of wires (FTP) and an additional overall metallic shield (S). Shielded cables exhibit minimal impedance or reactance deviations compared to unshielded cables. The transmission parameters remain relatively constant even at high frequencies and are better than those of UTP cables. Cat 6 cables are designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz and are commonly used in professional settings. Transmission speed may suffer over longer lengths, but slight excess lengths are generally acceptable depending on external influences.
