Although visually similar to a flat ribbon cable, the Slim patch cables also achieve Gigabit Ethernet speeds. Three Slim patch cables have the same diameter as a single standard Cat5e patch cable. Despite their extremely thin design, the cable features twisted pairs. Additionally, it has a wide, flexible strain relief and a practical length marking on both ends, and it supports Power over Ethernet (PoE).
