The robust uvex 2 safety shoe series in protection class S2/S3 is optimized for medium-heavy applications and is aimed at sectors such as chemicals, transport and logistics, energy, mechanical engineering, and trade.

Particularly lightweight and flexible, it features a 100% metal-free uvex xenova toe cap of the newest generation, compact design, anatomical shape, good lateral stability, no thermal conductivity, and is non-magnetic. The non-metallic, anti-puncture insole meets the latest standards without impairing the shoe's flexibility.

Manufactured with new last technology for exceptional wearing comfort, it offers an optimized wearing sensation thanks to uvex climazone technology. The hydrophobic and breathable upper leather is made of particularly soft cowhide, while the Distance Mesh lining material provides optimum ventilation.

The shoe includes an individually adjustable, elastic handle with a quick lock, and a standard replacement handle is included (model 6502 only). The almost seamless shaft construction helps avoid pressure points.

It features a removable comfort footbed that is antistatic, with a moisture transport system and additional heel and forefoot cushioning. The soft padded collar and padded dust flap enhance comfort.

The two-layer sole consists of a particularly light and optimally shock-absorbing midsole and a very slip-resistant outsole, free of substances that interfere with lacquer wetting, such as silicones and plasticizers. An injected polyurethane overcap protects the upper leather over the toe cap for significantly longer service life. The shoe meets ESD requirements with a bleeder resistor.
