The Meater Plus is the first truly wireless, smart meat thermometer. With the Meater you get more freedom at the grill, smoker or in the kitchen. The wireless thermometer is simply plugged into the meat. Regardless of the cooking method, the Meater can be used in a pan, oven, grill or rotisserie. It has two sensors, one for the core temperature, up to 100°C, and one for the ambient temperature up to 275°C. The Meater can be connected to a smartphone, tablet or PC via Bluetooth 4.0. The app calculates the optimum cooking time based on the preselected preparation method, type of meat and weight. When the meat has reached the desired cooking level, the user is informed by a signal. The complete cooking process can be followed in this way. The app also gives an introduction through each step of the cooking process to ensure perfect and consistent results. In addition, time and/or temperature based alarms/notifications can be set manually. The Meat Thermometer Plus extends the radio range to 50 metres by means of a repeater in the charging station.
