The big 40 is not only a statement of style, but also convinces with its technical features. The frameless design of the oversize powder goggle extends the field of vision to 186° and ensures that whirled up spray glides off the windscreen even more easily. In order to keep an overview in changing light conditions in steep couloirs or on wooded slopes, the uvex big 40 is also available as a VFM model with variomatic® coating in addition to the pure Full Mirror (FM) model. This automatically tints the fully mirrored lens between protection levels S1 (light tinting) and S3 (very dark tinting) depending on the light intensity. Naturally, all models provide 100% protection against harmful UVA, UVB and UVC rays. The proven supravision coating reliably prevents fogging of the spherical lens in any weather and provides a clear view at all times. Preformed pads that adapt to the contours of the face and silicone prints on the goggle strap ensure that the goggle sits firmly on the helmet when off-road and nothing stands in the way of the next powder turn.
