Oakley was inspired by the high-tech visors used by pilots in combat when developing the Flight Deck XM. The result is a maximized field of vision, allowing for early detection of dangers and obstacles. The Flight Deck XM differs from the Flight Deck in that it is designed to fit smaller faces.
