The Absolute Black Graphene Wax is a wax with a specially modified crystal structure and additives made from high-purity graphene. It is liquid when applied and becomes almost solid as it dries on the chain. Wax-based lubricants have a much greater tolerance to water and dirt contamination, effectively separating moving chain parts from wear and filling in any imperfections on friction surfaces. Graphene, the wonder material that is still not widely used due to its incredibly high cost, is a great additive for several reasons. It has an extremely low coefficient of friction in all environments, is significantly stronger than any known material, and can adhere to metal to protect friction surfaces from excessive wear. Additionally, it repels water and is non-permeable to air, reducing oxidative stress on the metal surface. Just a single layer of atoms is enough to significantly reduce friction.

Absolute Black has spent two years researching the right ratio of flaky to non-flaky graphene, the size of the graphene flakes, the concentration, and finally a low-friction hydrocarbon emulsion base that remains on the chain for a very long time without flaking off, as is common with paraffin wax. The end result is a lubricant that maintains friction losses of under 5 watts over a distance of 900 km with a single application.
