Known as a vegetable or potato spoon, it is essential for serving food in an appropriate and perfect way. The serving spoon is larger than the dinner spoon, and its round shape better accommodates food. It features a long handle, which is advantageous for serving at the table. There is a matching serving spoon for every WMF cutlery collection. For the Nuova collection, designer Jutta Keil created special cutlery for delightful moments, including brunch knives, cake lifters, and salad servers. These utensils are used depending on the situation and taste: egg spoons for soft-boiled breakfast eggs, lasagna lifters for savory pasta casseroles, and espresso and latte macchiato spoons for Italian coffee specialties. Designer André Stocker took a creative approach to the tongs in the collection, developing universal and pasta tongs, as well as asparagus and perforated serving tongs. The latter can pick up mozzarella and tomatoes while leaving the marinade in the plate. The special cutlery and dimensionally stable tongs are made of polished Cromargan, featuring a simple, timeless design that fits every table setting. WMF offers the cutlery pieces individually or as a set, and they are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
