The large opening makes it easy to fill with cold drinks (water, sparkling water, juice, iced tea, etc.) The carafe fits into the drinks compartment of a standard refrigerator. The detachable lid is dishwasher-safe. It is dismantled by removing the plastic ball on the pendulum. Cleaning beads are recommended for cleaning the carafe. With the WMF Basic water carafes made of glass, you have no trouble pouring the contents into a glass in a targeted and drip-free manner - even when swivelling quickly. The carafe has a lid with a close-up closure, which can be removed. The closure opens and closes automatically when the carafe is tilted. The closure with 1 mm clearance to the lid and the plastic ball guarantees smooth and jerk-free swivelling when pouring. The opening of the water carafe is large enough to fill with ice cubes or all kinds of fruit, such as lemon or lime slices. A strainer integrated into the lid ensures that the additions used in the carafe remain in the carafe when pouring. After use, the lid can be completely dismantled and cleaned with the carafe in the dishwasher.
