No you can't, you need a head unit
A simple answer: No.
We are currently awaiting a delivery of this item, which is expected to arrive this week. Accordingly, it is still in stock.
The additional modules only communicate with the main module. The range is very limited. In my case, the outdoor module can no longer communicate with the main module if it is 10 m away behind the balcony pane. I think it will be impossible to get into the cellar. Unfortunately, the indoor module is no better. In the office, with a distance of about 8 metres (flight line) through 2 walls, that's it. The 4th floor in the basement is at least 5x2m and 4 ceilings. That's not going to work.
Yes, apparently the product has been renamed.
The add-on module only works together with the Netatmo weather station. They both measure the same values (temperature, humidity, air quality).
Only measured by the main module.
Thank you for the information, it seems to be an error. We will immediately pass this on internally for checking and possible correction.
Thank you for pointing this out. Certain product categories are not listed on the Digitec website, or are incorrectly not listed. If you search for them, however, the Galaxus search suggestions are suggested. And vice versa. As correctly recognised, the vouchers can be used on both portals. We do not differentiate between Digitec and Galaxus.
In short, I couldn't do it with the app on the Iphone. I downloaded the installation wizard (for the Mac in my case), connected the station and was able to connect the two stations. There was an error message each time, but they were still connected. Some of Netatmo's software is lousy, sorry.
This is an indoor module. It has the same form factor as the outdoor module except for the suspension device at the back. The product and the description here are correct. And no, so far there are no individual outdoor modules here at Digitec. Not from the manufacturer either, by the way.
Like all other additional modules (outdoor module, rain sensor, anemometer), it communicates via a proprietary radio link. https://www.netatmo.com/en-eu/weather/weatherstation/specifications
Hi. Theoretically, yes, as operation down to 0 degrees is supported. I can't judge how well your fridge is shielded (WiFi reception inside).
No! The indoor module, like all other parts, can only be used with the main station!
Unfortunately, we cannot procure the outer module individually.
none - or an infinite number; depends on how you look at it ;-) To obtain weather data, the phone (or pad or PC) is not connected to the weather station, but to Netatmo's web service, which in turn receives the data from the weather station. [The indoor module cannot be operated standalone anyway, but only as an additional module to the base station].
Unfortunately, it only works with the weather station. The Home Coach system also needs its own app, unfortunately it cannot be integrated into the Netatmo app. With the weather station, you can integrate a maximum of 3 additional indoor modules.
Temperature: Measuring range from 0°C to 50°C. In addition, the module is not tight. I operate the additional indoor module in a non-heated conservatory, and it has worked very well for 2 years. But it never gets below 0°C there.
