Normann Copenhagen Tap

The stool has three integrated legs and a round seat. It can be used as additional seating and is easily stackable. Everyone knows it: the three-legged stool. Almost everyone has a variation of it in their home at some point in their lives and the design is taken for granted. Re-interpreting something as simple as a stool was therefore the starting point for Normann Copenhagen when designing the Tap stool. A lightweight hard foam was used for the seat, which has a flexible, closed, rubber-like surface. This makes Tap dirt-repellent, durable and easy to clean, while the moulded seat ensures good seating comfort and offers the same inviting warmth that we know from upholstered furniture. The three legs are integrated into the seat. This gives Tap the appearance of being one piece, even when viewed from the side.
