Wirewin UTP patch cables are characterized by their high quality and are suitable for Gigabit connections with operating frequencies of up to 250 MHz. Applications for Category 6 cables include voice, multimedia, and data transmission as well as ATM networks. The wires are made of 100% unshielded copper, and the cable features bend protection. The sheath is made from halogen-free materials and is highly flame-resistant.

The UTP cable consists of a plastic sheath that contains the unshielded, twisted pairs. Due to the lack of shielding, UTP cables have a small outer diameter, making them easy to handle and install.
