Wirewin slim patch cables are a solution for various cabling problems. Although optically quite similar to a ribbon cable, the slim patch cables reach the values of category 6 and are therefore suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T/TX applications, i.e. also Gigabit Ethernet. Only three slim patch cables have the diameter of a single standard Cat5e patch cable. Despite its extremely thin construction, the cable has a twisting of the individual wire pairs. It also has a wide, flexible latch protection and a practical length print on both ends and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE).
