Switch to a RAID-1 setting with data mirroring if you want to store your data twice on the built-in WD hard drives. Ready to go with maximum speed and capacity by default thanks to RAID-0. Alternatively, the included WD Drive Utilities software allows you to set up a RAID-1 array for redundant storage or use as two independent hard drives (JBOD).The My Book Duo is loaded with two RAID-optimized WD hard drives and is ultra-fast, high-quality storage you can count on. The RAID-optimized firmware ensures data integrity during read and write operations in the two-disk array.The My Book Duo hard drive comes with 256-bit AES hardware encryption and WD Security software. This keeps your private content secure and confidential. Set your own password to enable hardware encryption and data security.
