The UniFi UAP-nanoHD is equipped with the Wave 2 standard and can achieve speeds of up to 1733 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. With 4x4 MU-MIMO and the popular UniFi Controller software, it is the ideal high-performance access point for a scalable, centrally managed network. The non-dedicated UniFi software controller can be deployed on-site via a PC, Mac, or Linux computer, in a private cloud, or through a public cloud service. The UniFi nanoHD AP features a sleek industrial design and can be easily installed on walls or ceilings using the included mounting hardware. It has a particularly flat form factor, measuring only 16 cm in diameter. With custom skins (sold separately), the AP blends even more discreetly into any environment. It can be powered by an 802.3af PoE-compliant switch and is compatible with all UniFi PoE switches and 48V PoE adapters. UniFi is a professional WLAN controller solution that enables centralized management of large wireless networks. In addition to creating so-called vouchers that allow temporary internet access, it includes security-related features such as Walled Garden, guest network isolation, VLAN, and detailed analytics capabilities. Through the software dashboard, you can always benefit from an overview of all important and current information regarding your network. The original 802.11ac Wave 1 SU-MIMO (Single-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) technology allowed access points of previous generations to communicate with only one client at a time. The innovative 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO technology (Multi-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) now enables simultaneous communication with multiple clients, significantly enhancing WLAN performance and user experience.
