Gigaset Elements is a very closed system. You can couple a (single) hue bridge to switch on the light in the event of an alarm or via a motion detector. However, that is all. No compatibility with Logitech or Arlo. And the compatibility of Alexa and Google is wrong: you can only order the plug from Google and only activate the alarm with Alexa. No Alexa or Conrad Connect or Google Home scenario can be performed with Gigaset Elements.
Yes the connection to the Philips Hue Bridge is provided and can be controlled by remote control, motion sensor or alarm. Different rules can be used to create different functions.
Everything works for me too. I even receive the messages on my iWatch.
Yes, there is an "at home" mode that can be configured.
There is an app and a widget for easy control via smartphone; but only for iOS and Android.
I don't currently use the set, but I have had it in operation for several years and have never had any problems with the batteries. Of course you have to change them from time to time - but maybe twice a year or so, at least with the devices I used (door sensor and motion detector).
Oops. Yes, it works without WLAN (except for the camera). I accidentally confused the power button of the whole router with the WLAN button. Of course everything was off!
Hello - According to Gigaset: The infrared motion detector immediately registers when someone moves in your home. In doing so, it is immune to small pets weighing up to about 25 kilograms. The motion detector sends the information securely to the Gigaset elements app on your smartphone. Hmm, so if I had a dog that was probably waist-high but as skinny as a bean and far under 25 kilograms, it would probably "recognise" it - or sound the alarm... Recognition as a pet is probably rather difficult with such sensors, a camera with logic behind it would have to be able to do that rather than an infrared sensor that is simply looking for movements...
is back in the store was probably briefly away...
Barely a year. Too little in my opinion. The batteries are expensive.
If you take a 4g router like tp link Mr 600, with a sim card, you have your internet connection to link the gigaset alarm base
I only have one Wi-Fi access point. But I don't think it will be a problem. The Gset Station simply connects to one.
Create a login, anyone who has the login data can log in. This is possible from several devices at the same time.
Ja, sind alke universal.
To be honest, I don't see any difference. The sensors are the same.
Sorry, I bought the system in October 2017 and sold it again. Greetings and happy Advent.
Yes, it works, you can also configure it for sliding doors in the app.
Good day, Unfortunately, it is not possible to create additional user accounts. Only one account can be added to a system. Kind regards Niklas
The set does not include a remote control. So you always have to control the system via the app. However, there is an additional "button" element that can be freely configured. I ordered it and configured it as a remote control for switching on and off. Very practical.
Hello. If you buy the Gigaset Elements button, you can switch the alarm on and off manually. However, it must be programmed the first time via the system app on the smartphone.
