Polylactic acid is a polymer that consists, among other things, of lactic acid molecules. Currently, we offer PLA filament in 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm sizes. A heated bed is advantageous but not strictly necessary for PLA filament. We recommend using an air cooler when processing PLA filament. Additionally, PLA is characterized by significantly more pleasant odor properties compared to other plastics.
