Product details
With the extraordinarily strong magnification of approx. 1.66x / 0.83x (35mm KB), the LUMIX G9 also has a very large viewfinder. The viewfinder image works without dark phases during high-speed serial exposures. Night mode and an AF point magnifying function are also integrated.
For the first time in a LUMIX camera, a large, illuminated status display is also integrated on the top of the housing for faster camera control and easy familiarisation for DSLR users. Image control on the back of the camera is provided by a rotatable and tiltable 7.5 cm LCD monitor in a 3:2 aspect ratio with high-resolution 1.04 million pixels. To store images, the LUMIX G9 is equipped with a dual SD card drive for fast UHS-II cards.
To ensure good results even under the most adverse shooting conditions, the front and rear frames of the LUMIX G9 housing are made of magnesium alloy. In addition, the G9 features a dust and splash-proof construction and is frost-proof down to -10ºC.
Thanks to the USB charging option, the camera is also independent of a fixed power supply. The LUMIX G9 offers Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity for convenient wireless camera remote control and instant image sharing. Compatibility with Bluetooth 4.2, also known as BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), enables a constant connection with a smartphone or tablet with minimal power consumption. With WiFi, in addition to the conventional 2.4GHz (IEEE 802.11b/g/n), 5GHz (IEEE802.11ac) can also be selected for an even more secure and stable connection.
