An additional LED light on the microphone boom also shows you whether the microphone is muted or not. The base also has a light which, together with the acoustic signal, indicates incoming calls. The auricle offers controls to control the call, to accept/end the call and to adjust the volume.

The raised keys serve as a reference point for your fingers so that you can feel them as you press. The headband itself is equipped with an imitation leather padding so that even long periods of wear are not uncomfortable. Of course, the microphone boom can be folded upwards. H820e headsets are automatically paired when connected to an H820e cradle, making it easy to use the headsets with any workstation for large-scale deployments or change of workstations.

Acoustic echo cancellation and a noise-canceling microphone ensure that you can hear and be heard even in noisy environments. Digital Signal Processing (DSP) allows you to adjust the microphone and speaker settings for more lifelike conversations. A switch allows you to switch to narrowband to improve performance in high implementation environments and extend talk time.
