S/FTP LSZH patch cable of category 7 (connector: category 6A) (600MHz) in snagless design with gold-plated contacts. Suitable for Ethernet up to 10GBase-T. The category 7 cable material for operating frequencies up to 600MHz with overall braided shield and foil individual wire shield (S/FTP) is designed for use in data centers, server rooms, and for rack mounting of network and switch cabinets for networks up to 10GBaseT. It has been manufactured and tested according to the guidelines of the ISO/IEC 11801 specification. The cables are individually packaged in a polybag. The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over very long periods. The snagless clip protection prevents the breakage or tearing of the latch clip on the connector. This allows the cables to be stored and handled without getting tangled in the clips. Due to the halogen-free sheath material of the LSZH cable design, the product, with its low smoke emission and completely eliminated emission of toxic halogens, is suitable for use in public spaces. This product uses category 7 cable material. The category 7 standard originally defined the GG45 connectors, which were designed as an evolution of RJ45 but did not gain market acceptance. Meanwhile, the RJ45 connector has also been further developed to meet the requirements of category 7 without any issues. However, it was never officially defined for category 7. Therefore, the printing on the cable reflects this.
