Kolink's external drive enclosure provides a mobile home for large 3.5-inch magnetic hard drives. The black external case is made of brushed aluminium and therefore feels very valuable on the one hand and on the other hand it effectively dissipates any operating heat that may be generated by a built-in hard drive to the ambient air.

The installation of a data carrier into the Kolink housing is easy and a screwdriver is included in the scope of delivery. The integrated SATA interface supports the proven SATA 3G standard, whose realistically achievable bandwidth is a maximum of 300 MB/s (= 3 Gbit/s) and is therefore more than adequately dimensioned for all hard disks. The case supports data carriers with a capacity of up to 3 TB.
