Our story begins in a region of Allraan, a collection of diverse nations with different cultures and values.

The history of the land has been shaped by the sword and magical objects known as "Rune Lenses" – a tale of alliances and wars among humans, beasts, elves, and desert dwellers.

The Galdean Empire has displaced other nations and developed technology that enhances the magic of the Rune Lenses.

Today, the Empire is searching across the continent for an artifact to further increase its power. During one of these expeditions, Seign Kesling, a young talented imperial officer, meets Nowa, a boy from a remote village, and they become friends.

However, by a twist of fate, the two are soon drawn into a war that makes them reconsider everything they have believed to be right and wrong.
