These are the game highlights in March for PC, Playstation, Xbox and Switch

Fist-fighting alligators, Chuck Norris chasing gangsters and a cult classic with a fresh lick of paint. Looks like March is going to be entertaining. Here come the game highlights for the upcoming month.

Believe me, you won’t be bored this March. The remake of «Resident Evil 4», the relaxing open-world adventure «Tchia» and the «Bayonetta» spin-off «Cereza and the Lost Demon» will make sure of that, to name just a few. But let’s start with a detective equipped with sharp teeth.

«Brok the InvestiGator»

Terrible puns are right up my alley. As is the mixture of punch-up and puzzle game, or punch & click as the developers call it. Alligator detective Brok not only has a sensitive nose, he’s also pretty good at throwing punches.

«Brok the InvestiGator» is out on 1 March for PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC.

«Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty»

Team Ninja («Nioh») is working on a new action fantasy game in which you have to defeat sinister demons by the dozens. The complex combat system is designed to make players work up a good sweat.

«Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty» is out on 3 March for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

«Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania»

The Rogue Lite hit from 2018 is receiving extensive DLC. As the name suggests, you can expect a crossover with «Castlevania». What could be more fitting added content than the series serving as the template for the pixelated action game? Whether you’re new to playing «Dead Cells» or simply need a little top-up – you can hardly go wrong with «Return to Castlevania».

«Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania» is out 6 March for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series.

«WWE 2K23»

All you wrestling fans had better mark 17 March in your calendar. It’s the day you can go back to dishing out blows with superstars like John Cena, The Rock or The Undertaker.

«WWE 2K23» is out on 17 March for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.

«Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon»

Learn more about the backstory of the brawling witch in this cute action and role-playing spin-off. Domi recently played through part three of the main series and loved it.

«Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon» is out 17 March for Switch.

«Tchia»

A picturesque tropical island you’re free to explore. Inspired by New Caledonia. This is what holiday dreams are made of. You can climb, swim and even slip into the bodies of animals to soar high up in the air or dive deep into the water.

«Tchia» is out 21 March for PC, PS4, and PS5

«Resident Evil 4»

«Resident Evil 4» is considered the best part of the zombie series by many fans. The game about the Los Illuminados sect in the fictional Spanish village of Pueblo is already 18 years old. The visuals and gameplay are a bit outdated. But this is something the remake aims to change to make it accessible to gamers like me. The kind who’ve missed out on playing this classic. Shame on me, I know. A free VR mode will be added after release. Initially only for PS VR2, however.

«Resident Evil 4» is out on 23 March for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.

«The Last of Us Part I»

The PC port of the «The Last of Us» remake has been somewhat delayed. It’s now due to be released right after the HBO series comes to an end. Until then, you’re likely to have digested the ending and be ready to play the original story yourself.

«The Last of Us Part I» is out on 26 March for PC.

«MLB The Show 23»

«MLB The Show» has become the quintessential baseball game series. Among other things, the latest part delivers a new feature called «Storylines». Here, you can choose from eight of the most famous players of the former «Negro League». This league was composed exclusively of African Americans. The last team disbanded in 1960.

«MLB The Show 23» is out on 28 March for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.

«Crime Boss: Rockay City»

A first-person shooter set in 90s Florida, where you have to defend your territories as a gangster boss. You can play solo or together with friends. There’s a high-profile cast including stars such as Danny Trejo, Danny Glover, Kim Basinger and Chuck Norris.

«Crime Boss: Rockay City» is out on 28 March for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.

«Terra Nil»

The South African studio behind the eighties pixel ballgame «Broforce» is venturing into new territories with «Terra Nil». And this terrain needs to be greened up. «Terra Nil» is a strategy game in which your job is to transform a wasteland back into a thriving ecosystem.

«Terra Nil» is out on 28 March for PC.

«Dredge»

«Dredge» is a fishing adventure set in a mysterious world that appears to be heavily inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s works. In this game, you get to work on improving your boat for more efficient fishing, and you get to explore a mysterious group of islands.

«Dredge» is out on 30 March for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Switch.

«The Great War: Western Front»

This tactics game aims to capture the slow and gruelling battles of World War I. In the course of a battle, the terrain changes due to bombing or tides. This, in turn, affects the advance.

«The Great War: Western Front» is out on 30 March for PC.

«System Shock»

After several postponements, the long-awaited remake of «System Shock» is finally due for release in March. The exact date has yet to be defined. The game has served as the basis for numerous cult classics including «Thief», «Deus Ex» and «Bioshock». Aboard a space station, you’ll be battling sinister mutants as well as the station’s artificial intelligence called Shodan, which has it in for Earth.

«System Shock» is out in March for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
