Quite possibly the shortest Eflator review

Our time is precious. That’s why I’ll make it quick. Very quick. The word I’d use to describe the Eflator, a digital bike pump from Fix Manufacturing? Good.

Sometimes less really is more. Who needs product tests that are nothing but hot air? Especially when it comes to something as trivial as a bicycle pump. That’s why this is possibly the shortest product review since the invention of product reviews. You’re welcome.

Digital bike pump Eflator

The Eflator was developed by Fix Manufacturing as an alternative to the classic floor pump. It allows you to measure and adjust air pressure at the touch of a button. The digital pump stops automatically when the target pressure’s been reached. I tested the Eflator on my gravel and mountain bike, and it worked a charm.

The Eflator reads 2.51 bar after pumping. I had set it to 2.5 bar. This gadget is pretty precise.

The following video from the manufacturer sums it up nicely:

  • One full charge inflates up to 8 road tyres from 0–100 psi (0–approx. 7 bar)

In a nutshell

The Eflator has me pumped

Easy to use, no exhausting pumping by hand. The Eflator also works for other areas of use. However, it’s far more expensive than conventional floor pumps such as the Air Compressors from Xiaomi, for example. I haven’t tested those, though. So if you can afford indulging in an expensive digital tyre pump, you can’t go wrong with the Eflator from Fix Manufacturing.

Pro

  • Easy to use
  • Built-in torch
  • Precise

Contra

  • Expensive
  • Currently unavailable, but should be back in stock by mid-November according to the manufacturer
