Test Report

7 toothbrushes tested

Regular dental care is an essential part of oral hygiene: You should brush your teeth at least once, preferably even twice a day to prevent the development of tooth decay and other tooth and gum problems. The classic toothbrush, which works without electricity, is gradually becoming obsolete: more and more bathrooms are equipped with either electric toothbrushes, whose brush head rotates during operation, or sonic toothbrushes, whose bristles vibrate at high speed to remove plaque. The latter are particularly popular: in contrast to models with a rotating brush head, they offer the advantage that they can be used to clean several teeth at the same time, making them much more intuitive and comfortable to use. We have therefore limited ourselves to sonic toothbrushes in this test and scrutinised 7 of them. We also tested another model separately: the GUM Playbrush JUNIOR 6+ Blue from Playbrush, which was specially designed for use by children.
