Lip care tested: Without mineral oil - two thirds are recommended

Labello, Blistex and Co: Unlike in the previous lip care test, many products are free from controversial mineral oil ingredients - but not all of them. Stiftung Warentest had 30 lip balms and creams tested in the laboratory, including well-known brands and private labels. Seven products are certified natural cosmetics. We wanted to know whether the products contained critical mineral oil ingredients - as was mostly the case in the previous lip care test in 2017. We are pleased to say that this time we can recommend many lip balms, some of which are available for little money. Our test results will help you find a lip balm that you can use without hesitation.
