As beautiful as a garden can be - especially in the warm summer: If you really want it to look good in all its parts, you have to devote constant attention to the sprouting greenery, because even supposedly quick & simple things like trimming the lawn can be quite a demanding task. Certainly, a large part of the lawn can be done with an enduring cordless lawnmower (see p. 40 for our test of 11 cordless lawnmowers). However, a lawnmower alone will not be sufficient if the grass is to be completely immaculate and there are many obstacles, such as brickwork. After all, it is difficult to reach the grass growing in front of such obstacles with the blades of a massive lawn mower. What is needed here is a lawn trimmer that can be manoeuvred into all the corners of the garden that are already closed to the lawn mower by its size. This time we looked at 13 battery-powered lawn trimmers.
