Test Report

For a flawless shave - 6 electric shavers in the test -

Even though many people find the appearance of men with a pronounced beard more appealing: The majority of men living in the western world still prefer a completely clean style, i.e. one that does not show any or only a few millimetres of beard hair. If you want to maintain such a style, you have to take care of the beard hair that keeps sprouting out of your pores several times a week: Many men now shave with an electric razor. This is not surprising: after all, there are all kinds of advantages associated with an electric razor. Large parts of the male world welcome the simplicity of shaving with an electric razor, which is completely safe and much quicker than with other methods. Of course, the shave can also be prepared to an exceptional degree with various means (preshaves, etc.) to improve the shaving experience and to protect the tissue even beyond the shave: But whenever you only have a minute or two left before you have to leave the house and go to work, college or elsewhere, an electric razor can be picked up without such a prelude to shave off the beard hair uniformly afterwards in a quick and simple manner. We tested six current electric shavers from Braun, KOENIC, Panasonic, Philips and REMINGTON (€min - €max: €29.99-229.00) and determined their quality over a period of six weeks with a large number of testers who have completely different types of beard hair in terms of thickness, structure, etc. The quality of the shavers was also tested: How effectively lighter to heavier beard hair can be shaved with the models, how long the batteries last and to what extent the blades working in the models ultimately irritate the tissue are described below.
