Test Report

14 Battery-powered impact drill 02/2021

In Stiftung Warentest's drill test, 20 impact drills and cordless impact screwdrivers compete with each other: which one drills well into concrete and turns thick screws into wood? The corded impact drills cost 40 to 186 euros, the cordless ones 79 to 525 euros. The scores range from good to poor. Well-known brands such as Bosch, Makita and Black & Decker are also included. The test shows: You can't always rely on the good reputation of a big brand.
