COMPARISON TEST - 8 bagged hoovers

Despite the growing competition from more modern technologies for many years now, it is still the most original of all hoovers that is used to clean the majority of floors in this country: The bag hoover. Although the bag has to be changed at regular intervals and the purchase of new bags can be quite expensive - in Germany alone, more than 200 million euros are spent annually - these hoovers are characterised by their bag: When the bag is full at the end of a vacuuming cycle, it can be changed in a matter of minutes without any of the dust particles that were previously sucked up being swirled back into the household. We tested eight current bag hoovers from renowned manufacturers: models with current market prices ranging from 48.73 to 291.56 €. Read on to find out how they manoeuvre through the household and around furniture, how their suction power behaves over different floors, what their sound emissions are like and how much electricity they draw from the power grid.
