Test Report

Comparing jigsaws with pendulum stroke technology

The test winner: The Hitachi model delivers the best performance in this context. No other machine succeeds so impressively in combining excellent cutting results with comfortable operability. Both a professional and an occasional do-it-yourselfer will get along very well with this machine. The professional machines: Although the Makita model "only" takes second place, it is not a whit worse than the test winner in terms of general work results; with a cutting depth of 135 mm (wood), it also backs up its professional ambitions. But the operation is not quite as excellently tailored to the user as is the case with the test winner.
