Powerful performance without excessive heat
Our Braun, which was over 7 years old, needed a successor. The ghd helios was the perfect choice. It dries hair around twice as fast as the old hairdryer without being too hot for hair and skin. The weight is comfortable, even for the ladies in the household. A real improvement on the old hairdryer.
ghd is a European manufacturer (UK) and our blue helios was made in North Macedonia.
The packaging could be less elaborate, without the writing and decorations in gold, which then ends up in the waste paper. This would save costs and require fewer chemicals. The inner plastic packaging ends up in the household rubbish and is quite bulky for the bag. This is better and more sustainable.
Our helios came with an attached 2-pin plug (not the 3-pin T12 plug), which was apparently attached to a Schuko plug. The adapter could not be removed, but it works in Switzerland and everywhere else in Europe. We would otherwise have used a socket strip from SoloTronix for Schuko.Pro

THE Hairdryer
This is an amazing hairdryer. We stayed in a rental cottage for the week and the owner encouraged me to use this. So strong. I have never been able to make my fine hair look so great with so little effort. Expensive, but made it my birthday gift. Love it.

The product is certainly a good one, too bad it took two deliveries to receive one that was not already used (although there is also some doubt about the second one received as the second box was also unsealed and the adapter socket was out of its protection and already connected to the hairdryer plug).
I have no time to file a further complaint and I keep it (it was a gift and I had to deliver it), with some suspicion.Pro

Product top, but used
I don't understand why they didn't package the product properly. I can understand wanting to resell returned products, but do you check them? Dust on the hairdryer should be noticeable. Even on the picture of notime you can see that the packaging is not closed properly. Here is the picture
