Die Tester(innen) waren einhellig der Ansicht, dass sich das BaByliss Wet and Dry Slim ST227E nicht allzu angenehm in der Hand halten lässt. Es ließ sich zwar gut umfassen, aber das Material wirkte nicht hochwertig. Wie die meisten Testgeräte weist es eine Kunststoffhülle auf, die aber nicht gut verarbeitet scheint...
Bei glatten Haaren liefert der Babyliss noch ordentliche Resultate, jedoch sind diese bei lockigen Haaren nicht überzeugend. Außerdem wird die Wärme auf den Glättplatten ungleichmäßig verteilt. Zudem bietet der Haarglätter weder eine Temperaturanzeige noch einen Display und somit ist das Abschätzen der Temperatur ein echtes Problem.
