Powerful pressure in the boiler. The Berlin Maschinenbau AG Schwartzkopff delivered the first high-speed freight locomotives of the series 41 in 1936. These machines proved to be universal locomotives for medium-heavy trains. A total of 366 locomotives of this series were built between 1936 and 1941, most of which were taken over by the Deutsche Bundesbahn and the Deutsche Reichsbahn after the war.

Kinematically guided short coupling at the rear of the tender and front of the locomotive with NEM pocket. Minimum radius of 360 mm. Piston rod protection tubes, brake hoses, and screw coupling imitations are included. Length over buffers 27.5 cm. Suitable freight cars can be found in the current Märklin H0 range, indicating the required DC wheelsets. This model is available in AC version in the Märklin H0 range under item number 37931.
