Payments can be made with a credit card, which, when inserted into the terminal, produces real shopping sounds, or - without any pulling or touching - using the contactless payment function: Simply enter the amount, confirm, hold the credit card next to the terminal, enter the PIN, confirm, and the payment is successful. This leaves more time for friendly customer conversations about the weather, goods, and well-being, which in turn trains the imagination and communication skills of the little cashiers.
