The GT/E was introduced in 1975 and was the high-end stage of the Kadett from Opel. The GT/E was a two-door coupe with a 1.9 litre engine and a revised suspension. Various teams entered this vehicle in competitions in 1976 and secured second place in the constructors' championship. The 58729 Tamiya model in 1:10 scale is based on the MB-01 M chassis. With this chassis, both the type of drive (front or rear engine) and the engine position (front, rear, low/high) can be freely selected. The drive is provided by a powerful 540 electric motor and the wheels have independent suspension. Required accessories: Remote control with receiver, steering servo, 7.2V NiMH battery pack, charger, paint for polycarbonate body (Tamiya PS-).
