Abandoned cities or villages particularly fascinate us. For nowhere else but in a so-called ghost town do we realize that this place once buzzed with activity, of which nothing remains today. Deserted villages are hauntingly beautiful! And even our well could not withstand the involuntary renaturalization. Trees, bushes, and many other plants are thriving, climbing, and growing where once people watched the water play to relax.

Nature continually fascinates us, especially when it reclaims places that we humans have claimed for ourselves. So-called "Lost Places" have long become an attraction. At these sites, we stand in awe with our mouths agape, as we become acutely aware of how fleeting our existence on this planet is. This contest between humanity and nature captivates us, and deep down, we know that nature ultimately always wins and will outlast us humans as well.

The NOCH foam model "Well" is lovingly hand-painted, adorned with fine details, and then enhanced with a super-realistic, handcrafted tree. These beautifully designed models are highlights for any model landscape and draw all eyes to them.
