Product details
1:87 plastic model set, very detailed execution and printing, delicate rims, length: 79 mm. This spectacular transporter was created in 1955 at the request of the successful racing manager Alfred Neubauer, built on the extended chassis of a Mercedes-Benz 300 S and equipped with the engine of the 300 SL. For many years, it was the fastest truck in the world and was used exclusively for transporting Mercedes-Benz racing cars. Starting in 1956, the racing transporter served as a display vehicle and eye-catcher in the USA and was later scrapped. A perfect replica is now on display at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart.
