The RM218 VdS-certified smoke alarm detector functions according to the optical principle, which enables reliable smoke detection in the event of a fire and the corresponding alarm signal. This means years
of safety without expensive battery changes.
Smoke detectors can save lives - The 85 dB loud alarm of the smoke detector warns you in good time of the spread of a fire, even when you are asleep, and gives you the necessary head start to get yourself and your family to safety and alert the fire brigade. The life-saving smoke detector is inconspicuous and easy to install.
Install a smoke detector along every escape route, at home, especially in children's bedrooms or office buildings. The RM218 is installed without additional cable routing and operates independently of the power circuit. For this purpose, the smoke detector has a battery control indicator and a test switch for continuous safety.

Der dahinter platzierte smartwares RM218 fällt durch seinen besonders lauten Alarmton von 100 dB(A) auf. Er ist jedoch nur eingeschränkt empfehlenswert, da sich seine Reaktionszeit schon von störenden Luftzügen stark beeinflussen lässt. Bei der Montage ist daher vor allem darauf zu achten, dass er nicht in einem Durchzugsbereich platziert wird.

Das schwache Gesamturteil macht auf einen Blick klar, dass man es hier mit keinem empfehlenswerten Rauchmelder zu tun hat. Tatsächlich würde die Endnote deutlich besser ausfallen, wäre da nicht das mangelhafte Ergebnis im Punkt Robustheit. Dieser fließt zwar nur zu einem kleinen Teil in die Endbewertung ein, aber mit einem solch schlechten Ergebnis sind weitere Abzüge vorprogrammiert...
