Der dahinter platzierte smartwares RM218 fällt durch seinen besonders lauten Alarmton von 100 dB(A) auf. Er ist jedoch nur eingeschränkt empfehlenswert, da sich seine Reaktionszeit schon von störenden Luftzügen stark beeinflussen lässt. Bei der Montage ist daher vor allem darauf zu achten, dass er nicht in einem Durchzugsbereich platziert wird.
Das schwache Gesamturteil macht auf einen Blick klar, dass man es hier mit keinem empfehlenswerten Rauchmelder zu tun hat. Tatsächlich würde die Endnote deutlich besser ausfallen, wäre da nicht das mangelhafte Ergebnis im Punkt Robustheit. Dieser fließt zwar nur zu einem kleinen Teil in die Endbewertung ein, aber mit einem solch schlechten Ergebnis sind weitere Abzüge vorprogrammiert...
