Beim Bohren ohne die Schlagfunktion ist die Skil 6290 AA eine gute Wahl, die sonstige Leistung beim Schlagbohren und Schrauben lässt jedoch zu wünschen übrig. Zudem versagte die Maschine im Dauertest und auch die schlechte Handhabung stört hier. Die geringe Schadstoffbelastung gefällt wiederum.
Die Skil 6290 AA ist eine am Ende nur mäßige Schlagbohrmaschine. Dies liegt zum einen an einer mauen Handhabung, an einer nur durchschnittlichen Haltbarkeit und vor allem auch an der schwachen Leistung beim Bohren mit Schlag. Ohne diesen ist die Leistung wiederum gut, zumal auch die geringe Schadstoffbelastung lobenswert ist.
