Have been using this thing for about half a year now, installed it in a 2008 Toyota Corolla Verso. I'm a little tech savvy, but honestly didn't know anything about wrenching.
Installation:
So here's where the basics had to be learned first. Radios have 1-DIN or 2-DIN size or are then car specific. The connectors (power, signals, antenna, control etc.) must also fit, so before you buy this (or a similar) product, check if and how a 2-DIN radio with ISO connectors can be installed in the car. I have found Internet anletungen, videos, forums etc. and then the appropriate panel, as well as the Toyota to ISO Umstecker and the adapters for the steering wheel control bought, as well as a DAB+ antenna, which the car did not have yet. With a little pröbeln the installation was not a big problem. Funny story, had to subsequently install the handbrake applied signal, otherwise my Android car could not be set up.
Operation and functionality top, at least not to be fixed to the radio. The sound gets in my eyes quite gur out of the boxes what is possible, my absolute favorite - the Android voice control. I dictate destinations, music requests and answer SMS/Whatsapp via speakerphone. Iphone was also tested - works, but I do not have one, so little idea.
The display is sometimes a bit illegible in sunlight - however, with a bit of googling, you can find the setting to have that permament on maximum level.
Have the purchase and installation so far not regretted - would recommend the device.

Super very satisfied with the result
Am very satisfied with it. But was definitely a search until I had the appropriate adapters. Anyway, it works wonderfully with my VW with Dynaudio. And soundwise it sounds at least as good as the old RNS510. Yesterday I tested the IOS13 beta and Carplay will be even better than it currently is.

Note that if installing in a VW T5 2004 the dash is curved slightly so it'll stick out a bit and you'll need some side fillers.
Excellent radio with multiple possibilities. In two days I had it at home.
