It does what it does, but not frost-proof.
Good quality installation, but it is already my third pop-up sprinkler in 6 years, as the previous two were both defective in spring (frost damage). Therefore, my tip: Make sure that there is no water in the pop-up sprinkler and in the supply line before winter storage and cover it so that no water can penetrate in winter.

Quality and quiet irrigation
Good watering product that is easy to install and very reliable for the price. I like the quietness of the watering compared to other systems and the wealth of adjustments (angle, width, rotation).

Irrigation very suitable for narrow lawn strips
I have been using this square sprinkler for years, so I no longer have to pull a hose over the lawn and connect another sprinkler, there is no need to adjust this sprinkler with connection.

Principle good, quality poor
The OS140 is one of the few devices on the market that can irrigate long, narrow lawns without anything standing around on the lawn (robotic mower!). In principle, this works well - the sprinkler extends with the water pressure, precisely irrigates the set area and disappears again cleanly when the water is turned off.
BUT...
You have to be very precise when installing the sprinkler, any slanting position is difficult to correct afterwards. In addition, the sprinkler must not be installed too low or too high and should ideally be placed on a gravel box.
Unfortunately, the durability is very poor. After less than two months in use, the sprinkler head no longer moved, but only sprinkled straight up. Cleaning and maintenance were no longer possible.Pro

Super sprinkler
I have installed the complete set in combination with 2 other Gardena OS 140 sprinklers. The assembly/installation is very simple and straightforward. If several sprinklers are installed, the range is of course reduced, which is a bit of a shame. Otherwise a super product.

The best solution for a symmetrical garden
After one year, very satisfied. Workmanship is top. The amount of water and watering area can be adjusted well. So far I have not had any calving problems. I was not so happy with other sprinklers.

Gardena Sprinkler (Pop-up)
I have already used these sprinklers for the last 5-7 years and they work very well. Just make sure they are sunken enough that the lawn mower does not catch it like mine did. It seems like the ground has moved a bit causing the housing to stand proud. Had to replace the cover and the sprinkler. The spare parts were almost as expensive as the complete thing, just bought the whole thing and replaced the parts needed.
