Abus Touch 57/45 Fingerprint
I bought the lock for the "Velo-Schöpfli" in front of the house for the family. After 9 and umpteen times of reprogramming fingers that are no longer recognised, I'm getting rid of the thing! The recognition is simply too tricky for daily use and probably only works for "indoor people" with well-kept fingers. However, if fingers were exposed to moisture, cold, sports stress or manual work, the lock can no longer be opened. Especially the son, who is a carpenter, plays tennis and goes to the gym, could often no longer open the lock.
Can only recommend this lock to indoor people whose fingers are not exposed to any stress in life.

I wanted to lock my garage with it so that other users can open it without having a key with them. This Abus Touch lock can save me as admin and other users. After a while, the registered users can hardly open the lock because it no longer recognises the fingerprints. I sent the lock directly to Abus in Germany. The feedback was that there was no system error with this lock. They sent me back a lock of the same type but a different one. This one had exactly the same problem and was even worse. Absolutely unusable! What a pity the idea would have been good. Much too expensive to have it lying around in a drawer now.
