To meet the growing demand for DIN rail power supplies, Mean Well has introduced the DRA-40 (40W) series. In addition to the usual functions of DIN rail power supplies, such as output voltage adjustment,
the series also has output current adjustment. This allows the output current to be adjusted by external voltage 1-10V DC, PWM signal or resistor, offering flexibility to the user. The DRA-40 series can be mounted on TS-35 / 7.5 or TS-35/15 DIN rail. It has a 90-264V AC input voltage range and 12 or 24V DC output voltage. Thanks to their high efficiency of up to 87%, the power supplies can operate at ambient temperatures from -30 to +70°C with simple air convection. Other features include short-circuit, overload and overvoltage protection and an LED indicator for power-on. The DRA-40 series is certified to UL / CUL / CB / TUV / CE and meets the requirements of IEC60950-1 Limited Power Source (LPS). Suitable applications are machine test systems and plant mounting systems with LED light source.
