User-friendly reversible ratchet. Accuracy ± 3% of scale value (in direction of actuation) with a release accuracy tolerance of ± 4%. Safe torque release includes palpable (close gap release) and audible ("click" sound). Designed for rough workshop use, it has a wide range of applications for controlled screw tightening in tyre service, bicycles, passenger cars, and commercial vehicles, as well as various applications in trade and industry.

The optimised sealing ring protects against debris. A ratchet repair set for customer-oriented self-assembly enables decades of use. The handle features slip protection for easier power transmission due to improved grip. An adjustment aid with detent points ensures safe and fast adjustment of the desired torque value by turning the handle. Safe locking of the setting values is provided by a latching function on the rotary assembly. The triangular rotary assembly prevents uncontrolled rolling, and lock symbols indicate the respective locking status.

The ratchet can be attached to the cable loop through openings on the locking rotary assembly. It has an easy-to-read, high-contrast scale with permanent readability due to laser marking on the scale bush. An integrated shift lever is included, and for models 5121-3 CT to 5145-3 CT, the shift lever has a free-running function that reduces the risk of injury and malfunction.

Tested in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6789-2:2017, it comes with a calibration certificate and serial number. Delivery is in a sturdy Hexa plastic box. The square drive is according to DIN 3120, ISO 1174-1, and DIN EN ISO 6789-2:2017. Made in Germany, the total length is 519 mm with a square output of solid 12.5 mm (1/2 inch). Continuous long-term tests on the 5000 series and 6000 series of HAZET torque wrenches have demonstrated that turning them back to the smallest scale value is no longer required.
