The Homematic IP alarm siren is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and drives away intruders with a sound pressure of up to 90 decibels. In addition to its loud siren, the alarm siren features several practical functions. Alongside the powerful siren, two bright LEDs provide extra attention. The desired alarm tone can be selected from a variety of sounds. Particularly useful are the signal tones for arming and disarming the alarm mode. Thanks to wireless communication, this innovative indoor siren operates completely without cables, allowing for flexible installation locations. Due to its similarity to a smoke detector, the Homematic IP siren can be discreetly mounted on the ceiling, out of reach of intruders. If an intruder does manage to get within reach of the siren, a built-in tamper switch reliably detects any manipulation and triggers the alarm.
