Product details
The thermal differential detector detects emerging fires and flames. It responds to a maximum temperature and a temperature rise. These indicators are reliably detected and reported to the alarm control center.
The thermal differential detector is mounted on the ceiling in the center of the room. The minimum distance to the side wall is 30 cm. Since the thermal differential detector, unlike optical smoke detectors, does not detect smoke, it is primarily used in areas with high dust and smoke exposure, such as kitchens, smoking rooms, and garages. An alarm is triggered only when a maximum temperature of 60 °C is exceeded or when the temperature rises by more than 5 °C within 3 minutes. By adjusting a jumper, you can configure it as a normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) detector. Thus, it is compatible with any wired alarm system. The thermal differential detector is powered externally with a 12 V operating voltage and is EN54 certified.
